Getting the permit (Class A)

Permit test you need to ask to take:

  1. General Knowledge
  2. Air Brake
  3. Combination

Study materials to look over for the permit:

  1. App on the App Store and Play Store – CDL Prep. Practice tests that are very similar and helpful to get prepared for when you are ready to go take the knowledge testing at the dmv.
  2. Read the CDL manual on our website, www.classaleasing.com it is a black and white photo of a truck and you can download the sections to study off of. Sections to study – 2,5,6, and 10. 

Go to the dmv before 8am at any metro exam station or local dmv near you. Bring your drivers license, and second form of ID (passport, birth certificate or military ID) + $20 cash when you pass. No appointment needed, walk in only.

Once you have the permit processed and in your hand, you can go to a truck driving school! Contact us to setup an appointment and training! Hope that helps!
